Refund Policy

POLICY OVERVIEW

Andover Junior Sports Association, Inc. (AJSA) is committed to providing a clear and fair refund policy for families participating in Andover Jr Football & Cheer programs.

Because AJSA begins incurring program costs before the season starts, refund eligibility depends on when the request is received and the program in which the athlete is registered.

Refund Request Method: All refund requests must be emailed to AJSA at info@andoverjrfootball.com

Football Refunds: Refund eligibility is based on the Jr Football Camp start date and Equipment Checkout

Cheer Refunds: Refund eligibility is based on whether uniforms have been sized, ordered, or otherwise committed for the athlete

Deadlines Matter: Once the applicable refund deadline has passed, registration fees are non-refundable

Important: Notifying a coach, team parent, or volunteer does not fulfill the refund request requirement

FOOTBALL REFUND TIMLINE

Football refund eligibility is based on the timing of the refund request in relation to the Jr Football Camp start date and Equipment Checkout.

Football refund guidelines:

Before the Jr Football Camp start date — Full refund of registration fees.

From Camp Start Date through Equipment Checkout — Refund of registration fees minus the Jr Football Camp fee, when applicable.

After Equipment Checkout — No refund; registration fees are non-refundable.

Camp-only refund requests must be received before the Jr Football Camp start date. Once camp begins, camp-only fees are non-refundable.

CHEER REFUND TIMELINE

Cheer refund eligibility is based on whether uniforms have been sized, ordered, or otherwise committed for the athlete.

Cheer refund guidelines:

Before uniform sizing/order — Full refund of registration fees.

After uniform sizing/order — No refund; registration fees are non-refundable.

This policy allows AJSA to manage uniform ordering, sizing commitments, and program costs in a fair and consistent manner.

HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

To request a refund, a parent or guardian must email AJSA at info@andoverjrfootball.com.

Please include:

  • Athlete name
  • Athlete grade
  • Registered program
  • Parent/guardian name
  • Best contact email
  • Reason for the refund request

Refund eligibility will be based on the date the request is received and verified by AJSA.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Refund requests will only be considered if they are received and verified by AJSA before the applicable refund deadline.

Notifying a head coach, assistant coach, team parent, or other volunteer does not fulfill the refund request requirement. Coaches are not responsible for processing, submitting, or approving refund requests.

Third-party processing fees, including any fees charged by Crossbar or the payment processor, may be non-refundable and are subject to provider policies.

Once a refund deadline has passed, AJSA cannot make exceptions or issue partial refunds outside of this policy.

Approved refunds will be processed as promptly as reasonably possible after AJSA reviews and verifies the request.
